Canino Digital is an independent web development studio. We design and build websites and web apps for small businesses, from a single well-built page to a full site that connects to your booking and payment platforms. How we work
We plan the bigger picture, not just the site.
Twenty-four years of professional experience, fifteen of them in the technology industry automating processes and leading technical implementations.
Alongside that, five years supporting my partner through the day-to-day running of a small business, with direct responsibility for every technology decision it depended on: accounts and identity, file storage, device management, point of sale, the website and mobile ordering.
So I've been on the client side of this. I understand what a small business actually needs from its website and its technology, what it doesn't, and how little time you have to deal with any of it.
I use professional AI development tools in every build, and I'm open about that. They're the reason a custom site built from the ground up on modern foundations costs $1,499 here rather than $15,000, and why a rebuild is now a realistic option instead of ‘fixing up’ an old site forever. What the tools can't do is know your business, tell a good design from a plausible one, or get your booking platform, domain and email working together. That part is me: knowing what to ask for, what to reject, and what good looks like.

Pricing
Fixed price, agreed in writing and paid up front before we start. Prices in AUD.
A few different homepage directions for your business, after a short questionnaire or a 15-minute chat. Credited against your build if you go ahead.
One well-built page that says who you are, what you do and how to book or get in touch. Ideal for a single property, a tradie or a practitioner.
More pages, features and integrations. Booking and payment platforms, live API integrations, portals, web apps. Quoted after a complimentary consultation call, so the number is right.
Mockups work like a trial: the $199 fee is credited against a build started within 90 days. Change your mind before the build is complete and ready for handover and we refund 50% of the build price. Mockup fees are non-refundable. See the project terms.
After launch
You own your domain name whichever you choose. Nobody's holding your site hostage.
We keep the site alive so you don't have to think about it.
Change requests cover small text, photo and content tweaks. New pages and features are quoted. Cancel any time on 30 days' notice, during which we move the code to your preferred platform.
For experienced users. We transfer the code into your preferred platform with written notes, and you take it from there.
For anyone new to this. Everything in the straight handover, plus a walkthrough of how it all fits together and how to make changes safely.
On either handover option, backups become your responsibility. We do not keep a copy or provide any backup or recovery service, so if the code is deleted or corrupted on your side it may be unrecoverable. Sites on the care plan are version controlled by us and can be rolled back instantly.

A direct-booking website for a short-stay host with multiple properties, fully integrated with OwnerRez through its API. Two-way sync keeps the calendar, pricing and availability aligned across Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and the other channels, so a direct booking blocks those dates everywhere the moment it happens.
An app for iPhone and Mac that tells you when it's a good time to call friends, family and colleagues in other time zones. Designed, built and shipped end to end, including the App Store listing and the privacy policy, with a browser version on the way.
